Course I: Environmental Health and Safety.

Four-session course helps teams gain understanding of government regulations and safety protocols needed for full-scale design implementation.

Course Logistics:

  • The course is divided into four 1.5-hour sessions.
  • Those who attend all four sessions and complete the assignments will earn a digital badge.
  • Meetings run live via Zoom to allow interaction between our Safety Officer and your team and chance for valuable Q&A to help you prepare for the contest.
  • Teams are welcome to schedule an appointment to visit with the instructor after the Zoom sessions.
  • Recordings of Zoom sessions available.

Cpurse II: Techno-Economic Analysis

Establishes guidelines for reporting CAPEX, OPEX, and providing data visualization, such as sensitivity analysis.

Instructor Bio: Edward Pines is a Professor of Industrial Engineering at New Mexico State University and a Professor-in-Residence as NMSU’s Arrowhead Center. His teaching and research is focused around people and how they create and fund new enterprises and systems. Innovation and new project/program development have been focus areas throughout his industrial and academic careers.
