All written reports submitted to Design Contest judges will be considered for publication in IEEE Xplore.
Approval for publication is based on judges’ review of the paper.
Invitation to publish in the Conference Proceedings will be announced at the Awards Ceremony.
Instructions for submitting the IEEE-formatted and revised paper will be emailed to winning teams.
A team need not win a prize to be invited to publish in the proceedings.
Faculty Advisors may be included in the list of authors.

April 9: Invitation to submit IEEE Paper (Announced at Awards Ceremony)
April 28: IEEE Paper Draft due (see requirements, right)
April 29 - May 3: Paper reviewed;
May 5: Teams sent revision requests
May 12: Teams submit revised papers
May 16: Teams notified of: paper acceptance; need for copyright transfer, and PDF upload.
May 20: Copyright transfers complete, papers cleared by plagiarism check, teams upload PDFs to IEEE site.
June 3: Papers submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore.

Limit of 12 pages
Use the IEEE-WERC Paper Format Template
Address all comments made by judges during the contest (yes, the reviewers will check this)
Focus on the technical aspects and remove the economic analysis.
Include process-flow diagrams with mass/energy balances, as appropriate.
